Online Specialist Menopause Clinic
Expert menopause care from British Menopause Society Registered Specialists, with time to listen
Personalised menopause care, particularly when things aren't straightforward.
Longer consultations with experienced doctors, whether you're struggling to get HRT right, have other health considerations, or need more time to understand your options.
How can we help ?
Perhaps you've already tried HRT but still don't feel quite right, have received conflicting advice, or have found it difficult to get the support you need.
Many women come to us after struggling to find an approach that works for them. You may need more time to talk through what's happened so far, understand your options and decide on the next steps.
We commonly support women who…
Are struggling to get their HRT right, including ongoing symptoms, side effects or difficulty tolerating progesterone.
Have received conflicting advice or struggled to access the help they need, despite seeing their GP or other healthcare professionals.
Have other health conditions or a more complex medical history that need to be considered alongside their menopause care.
Are experiencing surgical menopause, early menopause or Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI) and would benefit from specialist support.
Continue to experience menopause symptoms as they get older, or have questions about continuing, changing or stopping HRT later in life.
Have had cancer and want specialist advice about managing menopause symptoms and understanding the treatment options that may be appropriate for them.
Want to explore their options more fully, including HRT, non-hormonal treatments and lifestyle approaches.
Meet your Menopause Specialists
Lemala Health was founded by Dr Mari Walling and Dr Emma Ginns, two experienced GPs and British Menopause Society Registered Specialists with many years of experience in both NHS and specialist menopause care.
Before founding Lemala Health, we both worked within a large private specialist menopause clinic, caring for women with a wide range of menopause and hormonal concerns, including more complex care. Emma also works within an NHS breast clinic, bringing additional experience in breast health, menopause after cancer and more complex hormone treatment decisions.
We created Lemala Health because we wanted to offer a more personal kind of specialist care: time to understand the whole picture, continuity with your doctor, and evidence-based treatment tailored to you.
As a small doctor-led clinic, your care stays with us. We also bring expertise in lifestyle medicine, allowing us to consider your wider health and wellbeing alongside your menopause treatment.

Why choose Lemala Health?
Specialist menopause expertise – Our clinic is led by experienced GPs who are British Menopause Society Registered Specialists, with extensive experience in both straightforward and more complex menopause care.
Time to understand the whole picture – Our initial consultations are around 60 minutes, giving you time to talk through your symptoms, medical history, treatments or advice you’ve already tried, and what matters most to you, so we can properly explore your options together.
Care tailored to you – We consider your individual health, symptoms and priorities when discussing treatment options. Where helpful, we can arrange blood tests and other investigations, with convenient home testing available where appropriate. Private prescriptions can also be arranged, with medications delivered to your door.
Continuity of care - Our clinic is led by just the two of us, so you’ll know who is looking after you and who is overseeing your care.
Support beyond your appointment – If you have questions after your consultation, you can contact us by email or telephone. We also offer follow-up care to review and adjust treatment as your needs change.
