Meet your Menopause Specialists
Lemala Health was founded by Dr Mari Walling and Dr Emma Ginns, experienced GPs, British Menopause Society Registered Specialists, with additional expertise in lifestyle medicine.
After many years working in NHS general practice, we both went on to work within a large private specialist menopause clinic, helping women with a wide range of hormonal and midlife health concerns, including complex menopause care. Dr Emma Ginns also continues to work within an NHS breast clinic, bringing additional expertise in breast health and hormone treatment decisions.
We created Lemala Health to provide the kind of menopause service we would want for ourselves, our friends, and our families. We believe women deserve expert, evidence-based care, enough time to be heard, and treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
We provide online specialist menopause consultations across the UK, combining evidence-based medical care with a practical lifestyle medicine approach. Based in the New Forest, we support women wherever they are in the UK.

Your 45-minute consultation takes place by video or telephone. We’ll take time to understand your symptoms, medical history, concerns and goals, so we can build a clear picture of your health and what matters most to you.
Your personalised treatment plan
We’ll discuss your options and create a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. This may include hormone therapy, lifestyle strategies, or further investigations such as blood tests where appropriate.
If treatment is recommended, we’ll guide you through the next steps, including arranging prescriptions and any tests. Where appropriate, you may choose to use a private prescription from us or ask your NHS GP to continue prescribing.
