Breast Cancer Awareness Month

We were honoured this morning to spend a few hours at Nova Clinic in Lyndhurst.

The wonderful Aga (photographed) hosts an annual complimentary event for women who have experienced breast cancer treatment.

The morning started with a restorative menopause yoga practice, followed by our open question and answer session.

It was a pleasure to be able to answer a variety of questions about menopause after breast cancer treatment.

We were able to cover a wide range of topics in a friendly and informal space.

We discussed sleep disturbances, hot flushes, night sweats, vaginal self care, low libido, managing stress incontinence and using vaginal oestrogen after breast cancer.

We also showed them the wonderful book, Navigating Menopause After Cancer byDani Binnington
